Welcome to studioEPIC photography!

My name is Alice and I am a Certified Professional Photographer based out of Toronto, Ontario. I specialize in wedding (as well as other event), portrait and product photography..

I first picked up a camera with a fresh roll of film (yes, film!) over 20 years ago, after deciding to try a Photography Course in High School...and have not put it down since. My professional photography journey begin in my last year at Ryerson University when, after completing a major in Applied Geography and minor in Marketing, my (always supportive & loving) husband suggested that I continue and get a degree in Photography (a hobby, which I immensely enjoyed and developed an eye for). Thus, my deeper passion for this art form manifested and I decided that that is what I am most happy doing. Even before completion of the program, studioEPIC photography was established and a website (with scanned portraits taken in the class studio, weddings of friends and some experimental images) was developed and launched in 2000.

I take my sidekick (my Canon digital SLR) everywhere and photograph anything and everything of interest to me. My style and approach is natural and photo-journalistic. I especially like experimenting with shadows and light and "creating" memorable, everlasting images.

One of the highlights of being a photographer is constantly meeting new faces. I easily connect with people from all walks of life and build close working relationships. My clients tell me that they appreciate the fact that I am able to make them feel at ease and provide the images they require (typically, I exceed expectations). Repeat business and referrals are the greatest compliments.

I love nature and animals. When I’m not photographing, you can find me spending time outdoors with my family and dog, enjoying arts and culture or dreaming about where to travel next.
